Children’s Mental Health week 2026
This year we are focusing on raising children’s resilience and helping them to flourish.
We can’t stop life events happening within families but we can equip children and parents to know how to cope with them. Parents often ask us how we can help them raise resilience in their children.
We love the definition of resilience which states: “Resilience is the capacity to bounce back, grow, and keep moving forward even when life gets tough.”
For Children's Mental Health week we develop three films: One for preschool and keystage 1 children, one for keystage 2 children and one specifically for parents. Last year, when we added these to our YouTube channel, we had over 50,000 views, which was exciting.
Watch this space! We and our elves are working hard to develop all the material for Children's Mental Health week 2026
