Children’s Mental Health week 2026

9th to 13th February 2026

This year we are focusing on raising children’s resilience.

We can’t stop life events happening within families but we can equip children and parents to know how to cope with them. Parents often ask us how we can help them raise resilience in their children.

We love the definition of resilience which states:

“Resilience is the capacity to bounce back, grow, and keep moving forward even when life gets tough.”

For Children's Mental Health week we have developed three films:  One for 4-7 year olds, one for 8-11 year olds and one specifically for parents.

For children aged 4-7 years our film is: Bouncing Back

Watch the film and then together complete the worksheet helping your child understand the 2F’s that can help raise resilience.

For children aged 8-11 years our film is: Raising resilience & Bouncing back

Watch the film and then, together with your child, complete the worksheet, helping them understand the 3Fs of raising resilience

As parents you are key to helping your children. Please watch this film first so you can help your children raise their resilience. It gives a good overview of what can help and why.

If you would like to get information when our Raising Resilience in kids online course is ready please use the button below to give us your information.
